Is PV1-F the same as H1Z2Z2-K?

No. Both names occur in solar cable documentation, but they identify separate products. EN 50618, voltage values and certificate scope for H1Z2Z2-K must not be transferred to PV1-F. Specify the required model and match its own technical and certification documents.

What does the 2020 PV1-F record show?

The PV1-F record dated 9 June 2020 lists 1×2.5–6.0 mm², AC 0.6/1 kV and DC 1.8 kV as maximum permitted voltage; it also states that it is not valid for the EU. These are historical document details, not confirmation of current certificate status or supply scope.

What information is needed to select a solar cable size?

Provide system voltage, design current, route length, voltage-drop limit, ambient temperature and installation method. Check cross-section, connectors and thermal limits together. An ampere value without installation conditions is not enough for cable selection.
