What to include in your enquiry
List each cable separately and include quantity units. Mark anything that still needs discussion.
- Model or category: YJV, YJLV, YJV22, BV, BVR, PV1-F, Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat6A.
- Application: power distribution, building wiring, solar installation or network infrastructure.
- Voltage and environment: AC/DC, indoor/outdoor use, installation method, temperature and any special conditions.
- Specification: conductor material, core arrangement, cross-section and construction; for network cable, add shielding and transmission requirements.
- Quantity: length in metres, number of coils or drums, and length per coil or drum where required.
- Destination: country, city, destination port and requested trade terms.
- Documents: required standards and editions, datasheets, test reports, certificates or acceptance documents.
- Contact details and requested delivery date: your preferred date provides a basis for discussing delivery timing.
Keep model differences clear
YJV and YJLV need to be distinguished by conductor material; YJV22 also has an armour construction to check. For cables with unequal core sizes, state the number and cross-section of each core group.
For BV enquiries, specify whether solid copper is required. BV and BVR need separate checks of conductor construction, sizes and applicable standards.
Solar cable: check both the model and voltage
PV1-F and H1Z2Z2-K are separate designations. Their names and certificates cannot be used interchangeably. If the project calls for H1Z2Z2-K or EN 50618, include that exact requirement in the enquiry.
State DC/AC voltage, cross-section, installation environment and required certification documents. Rated voltage, maximum permitted voltage and test voltage are different fields. Current ratings need to be assessed with the installation and temperature conditions.
Network cable: a Cat category is one part of the specification
Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A identify the transmission category requested. The supply configuration also depends on the conductor, AWG size, shielding, sheath material, length and test method.
Include the intended network speed, link length, installation conditions and any power delivery requirements. Typical figures for a Cat category need to be checked against the data for the specific product before ordering.

Yes. Email it to neallbule@gmail.com with each model, specification and quantity on a separate line. Include the destination port and required documents.
What are the minimum order quantity and lead time?
Both are confirmed in the quotation according to the model, specification, quantity and packing requirements. Include your requested delivery date when enquiring.
Does an H1Z2Z2-K certificate also cover PV1-F?
Not automatically. The model, manufacturer, cross-section, standard and certificate scope must match. PV1-F and H1Z2Z2-K are separate designations.
